Production of this commodity in 20 09 wasonly 93.10 % of that of 20 08 as detailed below.

Price competition during the first semester and third quarter on 20 09 was attributed to low purchase of third parties’ raw materials. In November and December, a hike in purchase of materials was recorded following the  establishment  of  Team  for  Procurement  of  Raw Material founded by virtue of Director’s Decree No. 7.6/ Kpts/438/20 09, dated 5 October 2009.

According the the related assessment, in  2010, area of  nucleic  plantation  will  go  lower  and  consequently the existing production will also significantly decrease. Purchase of third parties’ raw materials is a possible alternative to meet the mills’ processing capacity of LG, HG and RSS apart form optimizing of non-productive plants  production.  One  attempt  to  be  undertaken in reaching the production target of  2010 will be the improvement of LG mills  (Baja Unit Business from  20 tons per day to  30 tons per day, and Pewa Business Unit from 30 tons pe day to 40 tons per day.
